CAPSEAH
Common Approach to Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment (CAPSEAH) is a guide to help all people and organisations working in humanitarian, development and peace settings take action to protect people from SEAH.
Developed by a multi-stakeholder group and with a global consultation, it brings actions from existing practice, policies and standards together to stimulate more and better collective action.
RSH
The Safeguarding Resource Support Hub (RSH) programme ensures that civil society organisations delivering aid have access to the tools, guidance, support and training they need to ensure that they do no harm.
The RSH programme delivers three separate but interlinked pillars; Dialogue, Capacity Development and Evidence Generation.
SDDirect, together with partners, developed and manages the free online safeguarding Hub.
IQTS
The Investigator Qualification Training Scheme (IQTS) strengthens investigative practices to improve responses to SEAH violations, ensure accountability, and prevent future harm.
Grounded in CHS Alliance’s survivor-centred investigation guidance, the programme focuses on three key areas: promoting survivor-centred SEAH investigations, expanding investigator capacity (supported by Humentum), and ensuring access to trained professionals
CHS Alliance
The Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) Alliance is a global alliance of humanitarian and development organisations committed to making aid work better for people.
The CHS Alliance was formed in 2015 by bringing together both the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP) International, which focused on accountability to affected people, and People in Aid, which focused on people management in the humanitarian aid and development sectors.
SEAH HRS
The SEAH Harmonised Reporting Scheme (HRS) is a risk management tool that helps organisations identify SEAH risks and trends across their operations, target prevention and mitigation measures, and benchmark against the wider aid sector.
It strengthens accountability to affected populations while helping simplify and reduce duplication in donor SEAH reporting.
MDS
The Misconduct Disclosure Scheme (MDS) hosted by CHS Alliance in collaboration with the Steering Committee for Humanitarian Response (CSHR), helps to prevent known perpetrators of SEAH from moving undetected between organisations.
The Scheme facilitates sharing of misconduct data between employers during recruiting. It is currently implemented by over 380 organisations.
